ज्ञानार्णव-तन्त्रम्       jñānārṇava-tantram - chapter-21, verse-26

शब्दाख्यं मातृकारूपमक्षवर्णविराजितम् ।
अक्षराणि हुतान्यत्र निःशब्दं ब्रह्म जायते ॥२६॥
26. śabdākhyaṁ mātṛkārūpamakṣavarṇavirājitam ,
akṣarāṇi hutānyatra niḥśabdaṁ brahma jāyate.

26. śabdākhyaṃ mātṛkārūpam akṣavarṇavirājitam akṣarāṇi atra hutāni,

26. When the letters called sound, possessing the form of mātṛkā and adorned with imperishable colors, are thus offered as oblations, the wordless absolute (brahman) arises.
