(tat) āranālamadhyastham kṣiptvā dveṣaṇakaram bhavet,
(athavā) rocanayā nāma kākapakṣasya madhyagam kṛtvā (bhavati)

76. Placing it in the middle of sour gruel (āranāla) makes it cause hatred and division. Alternatively, having written the name with rocanā pigment, placing it in the middle of a crow's wing feather (brings the same result).
