ज्ञानार्णव-तन्त्रम्       jñānārṇava-tantram - chapter-16, verse-47

नष्टसंततिविज्ञेया मिताः सर्वसमृद्धिदाः ।
पुष्पं संकोचयेन्नोचेद्द्वादशे नष्टसंततिः ॥४७॥
47. naṣṭasaṁtativijñeyā mitāḥ sarvasamṛddhidāḥ ,
puṣpaṁ saṁkocayennoceddvādaśe naṣṭasaṁtatiḥ.

puṣpaṃ saṅkocayet na uced dvādaśe naṣṭasantatiḥ
47. mitāḥ sarvasamṛddhidāḥ naṣṭasantativijñeyāḥ
puṣpaṃ saṅkocayet na uced dvādaśe naṣṭasantatiḥ
47. (Those that are) limited (are) known to grant all prosperity, whereas those beyond that are recognized as causing the destruction of lineage. Therefore one should close the flower, or else on the twelfth (stage) there is destruction of lineage.
