yaḥ tu śrī-vidyā ṣoḍaśākṣarī guru-upadeśena vinā dṛṣṭvā prajapate,
saḥ yoginī-gaṇaiḥ bhakṣyaḥ

38. Whoever recites the sixteen-syllabled Śrīvidyā after seeing it without the guidance of a guru becomes food for the hosts of yoginīs.
