वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-94, verse-14

कच्चिदर्थं विनिश्चित्य लघुमूलं महोदयम् ।
क्षिप्रमारभसे कर्तुं न दीर्घयसि राघव ॥१४॥
14. kaccidarthaṃ viniścitya laghumūlaṃ mahodayam ,
kṣipramārabhase kartuṃ na dīrghayasi rāghava.
