एवं यदागतायुः स्यात् सर्वखेटसमुद्भवम् ।
तदर्धं स्फुटमायुः स्यादष्टवर्गभवं नृणाम् ॥४॥

Thus, when a lifespan derived from all planets has been calculated, half of that lifespan is considered the precise (actual) lifespan for human beings, originating from the aṣṭavarga (system).
