महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-9, verse-260

भार्यायाः पाणियुगलं गृह्णीयादित्युदीरयन् ।
पाणिं गृह्णामि सुभगे गुरुदेवरता भव ।
गार्हस्थ्यं कर्म धर्मेण यथावदनुशीलय ॥२६०॥
260. bhāryāyāḥ pāṇiyugalaṁ gṛhṇīyādityudīrayan ,
pāṇiṁ gṛhṇāmi subhage gurudevaratā bhava ,
gārhasthyaṁ karma dharmeṇa yathāvadanuśīlaya.
260. bhāryāyāḥ pāṇiyugalaṃ gṛhṇīyād
iti udirayan pāṇiṃ gṛhṇāmi subhage
gurudevaratā bhava gārhasthyaṃ
karma dharmeṇa yathāvat anuśīlaya

260. Saying, 'I take the pair of hands of the wife,' (the bridegroom) should take her hand, saying, 'O auspicious one, I take your hand. Be devoted to your elders and the gods, and properly practice the duties of the householder according to dharma.'
