महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-8, verse-18

मात्éः पित्éन् शिशून् दारान् स्वजनान् बान्धवानपि ।
यः प्रव्रजति हित्वैतान् स महापातकी भवेत् ॥१८॥
18. mātéḥ pitén śiśūn dārān svajanān bāndhavānapi ,
yaḥ pravrajati hitvaitān sa mahāpātakī bhavet.

yaḥ pravrajati hitvā etān sa mahāpātakī bhavet
18. yaḥ mātaram pitaram ca śiśūn dārān svajanān
bāndhavān api hitvā pravrajati sa mahāpātakī bhavet
18. Whoever sets out as a wanderer after abandoning his mother, his fathers, children, wife, close kinsmen, and relatives, becomes a great sinner.
