अपरे तु युगे देवि पुण्यं पापञ्च मानसम् ।
नृणामासीत् कलौ पुण्यं केवलं न तु दुष्कृतम् ॥६९॥

69. O goddess, in other ages the good and bad deeds of mortals were both mental, but in the age of Kali only good intention bears fruit, not evil action.
