प्रसन्नवदनेक्षणं सकलदेवतारूपिणम् स्मरेत् शिरसि हंसगं तदभिधानपूर्वं गुरुम् ॥११८॥

On the head, in the thousand-petaled lotus, one should recall the guru - preceded by that (mantra) name, seated upon the haṃsa, radiant like the full moon, his lotus-hands showing the gestures of granting boons and dispelling fear, adorned with pure fragrance, flowers and garments, his face and eyes serene, embodying the form of all the deities.
