न मे प्रियश्चतुर्वेदी मद्भक्तः श्वपचोऽपि वा ।
तस्मै देयं ततो ग्राह्यं स तु पूज्यो ह्यहं तथा ॥२७॥

27. na me priyaścaturvedī madbhaktaḥ śvapaco'pi vā ,
tasmai deyaṁ tato grāhyaṁ sa tu pūjyo hyahaṁ tathā.

catur-vedi api vā śva-pacaḥ mad-bhaktaḥ me na priyaḥ

27. Even a scholar of the four Vedas is not dear to Me compared to My devotee who is an outcaste. To him charity should be given and from him it should be accepted, for he is as venerable as I am.
