कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-12, verse-15

तावदात्तीर्भयं शोको लोभमोहभ्रमादयः ।
यावन्नायाति शरणं श्रीगुरुं भक्तवत्सलम् ॥१५॥
15. tāvadāttīrbhayaṁ śoko lobhamohabhramādayaḥ ,
yāvannāyāti śaraṇaṁ śrīguruṁ bhaktavatsalam.
15. tāvat ātiḥ bhayam śokaḥ lobha-moha-bhrama-ādayaḥ
yāvat na āyāti śaraṇam śrī-gurum bhakta-vatsalam
15. yāvat śrī-gurum bhakta-vatsalam śaraṇam na āyāti,
tāvat ātiḥ bhayam śokaḥ lobha-moha-bhrama-ādayaḥ (bhavanti)
15. As long as one does not take refuge in the revered guru, who is affectionate to his devotees, for that long mental agony, fear, sorrow, greed, delusion, confusion, and other such things persist.
