संसार मोहनाशाय शाब्दबोधो न हि क्षमः ।
न निवर्त्तेत तिमिरं कदाचिद्दीपवार्त्तया ॥९७॥

97. saṁsāra mohanāśāya śābdabodho na hi kṣamaḥ ,
na nivartteta timiraṁ kadāciddīpavārttayā.

97. Mere textual or verbal knowledge is incapable of destroying the delusion of worldly existence, just as darkness is never dispelled merely by talking about a lamp.
