कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-1, verse-66

वञ्चिताशेषचित्तैस्तैनीत्यं लोको विनाशितः ।
हा हन्त विषयाहारैर्देहस्थेन्द्रियतस्करैः ॥६६॥
66. vañcitāśeṣacittaistainītyaṁ loko vināśitaḥ ,
hā hanta viṣayāhārairdehasthendriyataskaraiḥ.
66. vañcitāśeṣacittaiḥ taiḥ nityam lokaḥ vināśitaḥ
hā hanta viṣayāhāraiḥ dehasthendriyataskaraiḥ
66. hā hanta,
dehasthendriyataskaraiḥ viṣayāhāraiḥ vañcitāśeṣacittaiḥ taiḥ nityam lokaḥ vināśitaḥ.
66. Alas! Humanity is constantly ruined by the thieves located in the body - the senses - which feed on sensory objects and deceive the minds of all.
