इदं कृतमिदं कार्यमिदमन्यत् कृताकृतम् ।
एवमीहासमायुक्तं मृत्युरत्ति जनं प्रिये ॥४१॥

41. idaṁ kṛtamidaṁ kāryamidamanyat kṛtākṛtam ,
evamīhāsamāyuktaṁ mṛtyuratti janaṁ priye.

41. O beloved, death devours a person who is thus entangled in endless striving, thinking: This has been done, this is yet to be done, and this other thing is partially finished.
