एतावदेव खलु लिंगमलिंगमूर्तेः संशान्तसंसृतिचिरभ्रमनिर्वृतस्य ।
तज्ज्ञस्य यन्मदनकोपविषादमोहलोभापदामनुदिनं निपुणं तनुत्वम् ॥ ६ ॥

Indeed, this alone is the true characteristic of one whose form is beyond attributes, who is liberated from the long-standing delusion of the cycle of rebirth (saṃsāra), and who is a knower of Reality (Brahman): that there is a skillful and constant diminishing, day by day, of the afflictions of lust, anger, sorrow, delusion (moha), and greed.
