घटे भवति भिन्नत्वं नाऽऽकाशे भिन्नता भवेत् ।
तथा देहगतो जीवो देहनाशे वरानने ॥८॥

8. ghaṭe bhavati bhinnatvaṁ nā''kāśe bhinnatā bhavet ,

8. O beautiful-faced one, just as division exists in the pot while there is no division in space, so the individual soul residing in the body is unaffected when the body perishes.
